Description

In the Taisho era, the Tanuki shape-shifting girl Mameda dreams of becoming a real human. To learn more about how humans live, she transforms herself and sets off for Osaka. Unfortunately, most people immediately see through Mameda’s disguise and want nothing to do with her. When one beautiful woman is particularly hostile towards her, the young girl is about to give up. But then she learns that this very woman, who calls herself Bunko and appears as the Rakugo narrator, is also a supernatural being! Without further ado, she asks Bunko to be her apprentice to learn what it means to become a real human being, which she is anything but thrilled about …

In der Taisho-Ära träumt die Tanuki-Gestaltwandlerin Mameda davon, ein echter Mensch zu werden. Um mehr darüber zu erfahren, wie Menschen leben, verwandelt sie sich und macht sich auf den Weg nach Osaka. Unglücklicherweise durchschauen die meisten Leuten sofort Mamedas Verkleidung und wollen nichts mit ihr zu tun haben. Als eine schöne Frau ihr gegenüber besonders ablehnend reagiert, ist das junge Mädchen kurz davor, aufzugeben. Doch dann erfährt sie, dass genau diese Frau, die sich Bunko nennt und als Rakugo-Erzählerin in Erscheinung tritt, ebenfalls ein übernatürliches Wesen ist!
